Jesse Metcalfe is planning to propose to pop star girlfriend Girls Aloud's Nadine Coyle in a bid to fix their strained transatlantic relationship - according to newspaper reports.The couple, who split briefly last month, have been trying to keep the romance alive despite the Desperate Housewives hunk living in America and Biology pop star residing in Britain.
The John Tucker Must Die star was spotted searching for engagement rings. Metcalfe then booked a surprise luxury break in Dubai. A source close to the star tells British newspaper The People: "He wants to make up to Nadine, so he's booked a five-star hotel and has made sure they can spend some quality time together - just the two of them."
